ABS Light Staying On
If your ABS or Traction Control light does not go off within a a few moment of driving you should get the car to a specialist as soon as possible to have the problem identified and rectified.
Like many of the problems on modern cars, many ABS problems are down to simple problems such as vehicle batteries that need replacing, charging systems that are not working properly, failed wiring, connectors and earths, broken brake light switches, blown brake light bulbs. However particularly on vehicles over 3 or 4 years old there are ECU,s Pump Motors and Valve blocks that also cause problems, some of those parts can cost over £1000 to replace with new parts and second hand parts are never a good idea on safety related systems.
We have developed our own in-house testing and repair facility for ABS ECU's, Pumps and Valve Blocks, in addition to providing a far more cost effective repair, we at the same time are eliminating the design issues that caused the problem in the first place, so you will have a much safer car as a result.
